About

My name is Henry John Hoffman and I was born on November 1st 1988. I am agnostic in both religion and mentallity; generally indecisive. If I could be any animal in the world I would undoubtedly choose 'human being', though would have to admit to being agnostic with this decision and until experiencing another animals existence, would not have an upstanding argument in my defense for this choice.  I have a living mother, brother and sister, all of whom seem to have very specific talents in art, albeit more traditional than my own. Enough about me, it's irrelevent.

Design

I am working for a design agency in Norwich (UK) up until May 8th when I leave to go travelling with my girlfriend. I have had no formal training in design and am self taught. Web design in particular was an unexpected arena for me to enter as my interest truly lies in computer games design and the programmatic approach required in web design doesn't really suit my spontaneous workflow approach. However I have learnt it and enjoy it and that's all that matters for the time being. I am also self taught in print design, game design, animation and 3D design.

Education

I have completed a BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies (moving image) with a triple distinction grade. The work was fun and developed my interest in independent cinema and cinematography as well as allowing me the time to create a lengthy piece of animation. In September I am beginning a BA in Computer Games Art and Design at the University of Wales, Newport.
